Master Hunter

Started Hunting Retriever

Receive 10 points in the Started testing category at Licensed Hunting Retriever Field Tests. (NAHRA)

Working Retriever

Receive 20 points in the Intermediate testing category at Licensed Hunting Retriever Field Tests. (NAHRA)

MHR
Master Hunting Retriever

Receive at least 100 points in Licensed Hunting Retriever Field Tests in the Senior testing category or have accumulated 20 Intermediate points and 80 Senior points in Licensed Hunting Retriever Field Tests. (NAHRA)

Started Hunting Retriever

Receive four passes in the Started category. (Five Championship points per Licensed Hunt are awarded for those dogs who pass all Started Hunting Retriever tests. A maximum of ten Championship points can be earned in the Started category toward the title of HR). (UKC)

Hunting Retriever Champion

Best of Breed

Best in Specialty Show

The dog judged as the best in its breed at a show that is open to that one breed. (AKC)

Canine Good Citizen

A certificate awarded to dogs that have passed the 10 item Canine Good Citizen Test. (AKC)

WCX (also sometimes AWC)

An advanced test of retrieving instinct - generally double retrieves on land and water, plus the dog must remain steady. (LRC member clubs)

WC
Working Certificate

A test of retrieving instinct - dogs must retrieve a bird on land at a distance of no more than 50 yards, followed by back to back single marks or a double on the water at a distance of no more than 50 yards. (LRC)

Companion Dog

Certified by 3 different judges to have received qualifying scores in Novice classes at 3 licensed or member obedience trials. (AKC/CKC)

CDX
Companion Dog Excellent

Certified by 3 different judges to have received qualifying scores in Open classes at 3 licensed or member obedience trials. (AKC/CKC)

Conformation Certificate

A certificate awarded to dogs who demonstrate a sixty-five (65) percent likelihood of conforming to the Labrador characteristics as described in the Standard. (LRC)

Tracking Dog Excellent

Variable Surface Tracking

Dog has been certified by 2 judges to have passed a licensed or member club VST test. (AKC)
